We have many projects and events on the go at the moment, and our awesome volunteers are busy busy busy! We're hoping to open our new community space, The Pod, this month and we'd love to invite you along to celebrate the opening once we have a confirmed date - watch this space! The annual South Alive Trolley Derby and family fun day is back on 4 March! Don't miss this amazing event, fun for the whole family. All participating in the race need to register but everyone is welcome to watch and take part in the fun games and races in Elizabeth Park. Don't miss it!
Come down to the Community Park & join us for some sweet sounds from the Southland Jazz Prophets and a free BBQ on Sat 17 February from 1pm. If you've ever been interested in learning more about South Alive, or volunteering, we'd love to have a chat with you!
"Over the fence" is a project to encourage people to connect with their neighbours. We want to put together a photo based book of all the places you love or think are important around South Invercargill. We will have two sessions to sit down and map this out in a group and share your ideas!
