Spring is here (although it doesn't feel like it today)!

Our annual Spring Flower Show is back this weekend from 10am - 3.30pm on Saturday 22nd in South City Mall.  If you would like to enter your flowers, vegetables or sand saucers pop into the office and pick up an entry form.
It is free to enter, with classes for both children and adults and entries need to be dropped to the office on Friday 21st between 6pm and 8pm.

Also happening at that time is the South Alive Kids' Poetry Festival.  Come down and check out some of the awesome original poetry from kids in our community - we certainly have some talented children!

Below are some of the projects and events happening in the next month, if you would like to be involved, we'd love to have you.  Pop into the office, give us a call or drop us an email.

The annual South City Street Party is back!  Come down and celebrate our awesome community with street food, buskers, shopping specials and great family fun.  Elles Road from Grace to Janet st, and Martin St from Elles Rd to the laundrette will be closed from 5.30pm - 9pm.
Do you know youth with talent?  South Alive is hosting a Youth Open Mic Night on October 26th for ages 14-21.  Entries can include acoustic, the spoken word, poetry and hip hop, but all talents welcome.  See website for more info!
