SEPTEMBER 2020 NEWSLETTER

Everybody meet our very own South Alive Team: Knitwitz

Knitwitz are part of the Pay-It-Forward action group at South Alive. This wonderful group does knitting that benefits those in need in our community by knitting a range of slippers, as well as blankets, beanies and singlets for newborn and at-risk babies. Their knitting projects are part of a community-led model of innovative projects at South Alive and items such as these produced by Knitwitz positively benefit the community. The Knitwitz group meets weekly at The Pod community rooms at South Alive and connects through vibrant laughter and their love of knitting. We enjoy having them in our community space each week.

Looking for some spring time planting, check out our plant bank here at South Alive. Koha/Donation kindly appreciated.

Do you throw out your junk mail?

If so pop into the South Alive office to get one of these stickers for your letterbox; let’s save the trees.
